2025-2026 BASES After School Program - EARLY RELEASE DAYS ONLY OPTION run by the Somers Recreation Department.
**THIS PROGRAM IS FOR FAMILIES WHO DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE MONTHLY BASES AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM**
This program allows SES families to register their children (grades K-5) to attend the After School Program for one or all of the early release days in the month. The program is held in the SES cafe and runs from 12:00pm-2:30pm each scheduled half day. An Extended Care option is available and runs from 2:30pm-5pm for an additional hourly fee and is billed at the end of the month. However, the Extended Care option is not available on November 26th, December 23rd, and June 10th.
The program offers certified & professional staff providing quality extended care services. Homework help, snack, recess, arts & crafts and STEM activities.

Note:
Standard program runs from 12:00pm-2:30pm. Fee $20
Please send your child to school with a bagged lunch to eat upon arrival to the program.
Extended Care Option provides care from 2:30pm-5pm for an additional hourly fee of $8/hr. which will be billed separately.
Pick up is at the SES cafeteria. Please call 860-937-4744 upon arrival.
The BASES After School Program is run by the Somers Recreation Department. If your child will be absent or picked up early and will NOT be attending the After School Program, please text or call 860-937-4744 or email afterschoolprogram@somers.k12.ct.us
